about

Released in February 2012, Krol Kleks - Krol Kleks is the first album by local Chicago, neo-psychedelic/shoegaze band. For fans of this scene, this is a keeper. Krol Kleks - Krol Kleks is arranged in a way that flows through in perfect order from start to finish and ends you on a trip from the 60s acid folk to the modern day neo-pschedelic world.

"Phil's self-penned, self-produced psychedelic drone has evert element of music that we listened for. Fuzz guitar, backwards looping, trippy riffs that have a familiar and often alien feel of something close that once struck some chord in our heads and now is intentionally a chord change this way or that way, that relentlessly permeates something that won't let you stop relaxing in the groove. I study/write to itune's drone zone; Phil's KROL KLEKS is infectiously well-crafted. This is what digital sound is for: brilliant blend of 60's headiness with the finesse of 2012 techno. WOW." -Mark Braun

about

Krol Kleks started in October 2011 in Chicago. By February 2012, Krol Kleks began to play shows all over the Chicago giving a very raw, DIY, and psychedelic/garage/surf rock sound to everyone fortunate enough to catch the experience (otherwise you can wear your motorcycle jacket while taking acid and catchin a wave). Krol Kleks is about imagination, angst, and karma....the rest is in your hands. ... more
